Goldcross Merida Demo Weekend
On the 16th and 17th of April Goldcross in conjunction with one of our trade partners held a demo weekend up at Mt Buller in Victorias high country. Over the past 4 years Bike Buller has invested over 1 million dollars on building a network of mountain bike trails. These trails take in some of the best parts of the mountain and go all the way across to the iconic Mt Stirling.

Glen Jacobs the owner of World Trail joined us for dinner with his trail crew. Glen took the time out to talk to our group about how the tracks were built and how he goes about designing such iconic trails.
Glen is in the process of build a downhill beginner cross country track called Copperhead designed for fun for everybody. This can only strengthen the already solid trail network which includes: Stonefly, Gang Gangs, Misty twisty, Village Family loop and many more.
Mt Bullers vision is to have a trail network as extensive as Whistler in Canada and they are well on the way.

The weekend was a huge success and all involved had a great time. Merida gave everyone hoodies and beanies which was great of them.
